Corporal Works of Mercy Outreach
Many
of the parishioners are not aware of the ministries that
are provided by our church and parishioners and these ministries
are part of the works of mercy outreach.
St. Stanislaus
Church provides a sense of hope and stability to the neighborhood.
St Stanislaus was recently recognized by Mr. Darryl Porter,
a representative of Mayor Duffy’s office, as a ‘Beacon of
Light’ in the northeast section of the city which is considered
part of the ‘crime crescent’.
Through activities
such as the Polish Arts Festival- a 37 year community festival
that has grown into a recognized county-wide event and maintaining
the beauty of the church buildings and the grounds, including
the planting of multiple gardens, St. Stanislaus is known
throughout the area as a place of special beauty and peace.
